The US Supreme Court’s again been asked to weigh in on the widespread legal dispute that’s now splintered a pair of appellate courts over whether sports prediction markets offer betting or a form of derivatives trading.
Robinhood Markets Inc.’s derivatives subsidiary implored the justices Thursday to take a look decision-making from the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit last month which favored state regulators.
