Through this project with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, attorneys provide counsel, advice and representation to abused and neglected children who have never before had representation. Ms. Mercera began working with this program in 2010 and plans to continue her work with them in 2018. Her involvement in this program gives children a voice in the legal system and influence over their future.
