Ms. Schaefer joined Pisanelli Bice in April of 2016. Ms. Schaefer focuses on commercial litigation, representing clients in a wide range of matters including contract and intellectual property disputes. Ms. Schaefer works with clients across a variety of industries and in all facets of legal practice, from pre-litigation negotiation, written discovery, and dispositive motions, through trial. Ms. Schaefer earned her juris doctorate degree from the Boston University School of Law in 2012, where she served as an articles editor for the Journal of Science and Technology Law and received a Dean’s Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ms. Schaefer received her undergraduate degree from Bates College, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Rhetoric, with departmental honors.
Active in the legal community, Ms. Schaefer volunteers with the Children’s Attorneys Project representing abused and neglected children. In addition, Ms. Schaefer judges high school mock trial competitions at the regional and state level. Ms. Schaefer also maintains her ties to Bates College, serving in their Alumni in Admission program by conducting alumni interviews and representing Bates College at college fairs.
